Baltimore Gas and Electric - along with assistance crews - have been working around the clock making repairs, though there are still 665 active outages impacting 6,467 customers as of 9:45 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 10.

A breakdown of customers still without power, by county, according to BGE:

  • Carroll: 2,805
  • Baltimore: 1,373
  • Baltimore City: 729
  • Harford: 701
  • Howard: 76
  • Anne Arundel: 70
  • Calvert: Fewer than 5;
  •
Prince George’s: 49;

  • Montgomery: 0.

“BGE's restoration priorities are public safety issues and critical facilities such as 911 centers, hospitals, and pumping stations,” officials said. “Then restoration is generally scheduled so that the greatest number of customers can be restored as quickly and as safely as possible.

“However, in cases of extended power outages, consideration is also given to customers who have been without service for the longest.”
